Extensible, reusable mechanics
From the beginning, we wanted to make sure our core mechanics were solid, so we spent quite some time researching existing games and going back to the drawing board every time we found a mechanic that we couldn’t fit on our hypothetical model. We made sure to implement the core in such a way that we can develop new mechanics in a very short span of time.
The result is a robust platform we can use to evolve Parigami, indefinitely.

Rich, interactive map
Parigami’s map, at the time of writing, is composed of four different zones, the Desert, the Lake, the Savannah, and the Forest. Making all the layers move smoothly, as the player scrolls up and down, was somewhat challenging. What works on iOS and Android does not necessarily work for Facebook, and vice-versa, but we eventually found a middle ground that makes it run smoothly in all platforms.
The map is implemented in a way that makes it easy to add new zones, revealing more and more of Parigami’s world to the player.
